Today I am honoured to be joined by the earthly and enchanting Tarn Asha, for a beautiful and nourishing conversation on the essence of gentle creative living. Tarn is an exquisite storyteller, photographer, and vanlifer who shares her journey of wholehearted, nature-based, and creative living on Instagram and YouTube as oakieonfilm.
For the past four years Tarn has been living on the road, traveling full-time across Australia and New Zealand, embracing a life deeply connected to the earth. Through her work, Tarn finds joy in creating soul-nourishing connections and celebrating slow, intentional living. She is a co-creator of Solside Studio, a business dedicated to supporting others on their creative paths through coaching, digital products, and short films that capture the beauty of nature and human connection. As a woman deeply rooted in the earth’s cycles and seasons, Tarn is passionate about honouring life’s wild and beautiful ebb and flow, weaving together stories that inspire others to embrace the magic of living outside the lines.
Throughout this episode Tarn will be illuminating her own unique and evolving journey towards gentle, wholehearted living. In our conversation we will be touching on the value of presence and slowness; consciously following the desires of your heart with intentionality and gratitude; accepting and surrendering to the natural seasons of our creative energy; connecting with Mother Earth as our muse and honouring her as a source of strength and healing; exploring the sweetness of storytelling for reflection, appreciation and expression; and exploring what is truly needed to create a wholehearted life that is enriched with freedom and fulfilment.
"I think gentle living is about slowing down enough to really notice the beauty in the tiny moments. Whether it's that first sip of coffee in the morning, or the smell of your favourite flower, or the way the light filters through the tree leaves. It's about being very intentional with your time, and grateful for those little moments of beauty."

Tarn has the energy of a beautiful forest fairy… a barefoot women rooted on the Earth, as well as a woman floating with the spirit of her creative essence and the natural movement of the seasons. I know that you will receive an abundance of wisdom and inspiration from our discussion here today, and I also feel it is a really timely one as well.
